In Spring 2013, Gamateks (a major Turkish fabric manufacturer) & Systainable Solutions launched a project which led to Gamateks becoming an M+S approved Eco Dye house. The project comprised implementation of Systain T-DH & Systain T-FM as well as a performance improving initiative & credible documentation thereof, which led to M+S certifying Gamateks as ECO Dyehouse.

Systainable enters a partnership with TESCO aiming at reducing the environmental impact and increasing the efficiency of TESCO's textiles suppliers' base. As a first action in this partnership 5 pilots were ran on 5 selected mills in India and Turkey (using a customized TESCO Sustainability Monitor Toolkit). Next steps aim at running larger scale optimization projects in selected flagship suppliers.

ifcThe World bank Group's IFC (International Financial Cooperation) division and Systainable Solutions developed a benchmarking tool kit for textile wet processors, which aims at helping the factories assess their efficiency compared to global best marks. The tool will be distributed as of Spring 2014.

gotsGOTS (Global Organic Textile Standard) -powered by Systainable Solutions -launches a Water and Energy Monitoring Initiative. Systainable Solutions developed a sophisticated benchmarking and efficiency-performance diagnostic tool (GOTS W/E Monitor; W/E stands for Water Energy), which will be distributed to all of GOTS-certified entities as of Spring 2014. Factories using the tool will also receive process-technology support by Systainable experts.

MADE-BYMade-By an international organization helping fashion and textile brands improve the sustainability of their products over their entire life-cycle will be supported by Systainable Solutions to compile a textile wet processing sustainability benchmark tool, which will be used by brands to assess the impact of their collections.

Turkey: In Fall 2014 3 major textile companies in the Corlu and Bursa area assigned Systainable Solutions to upgrade and optimize their processing mills by means of Systainable’s Expert Systems Implementation and targeted Processing Know-How Transfer. All 3 projects were successfully completed in March 2015; Within 6 months the mills lowered cost and improved efficiency by 15%-20%.

The latest version of Systain T-DH (Systainable Solutions’ Dyeing Expert System) was released in March 2015. Systain T-DH V2.1 includes major functionality improvements, minor bug fixes and a major underlying technology shift allowing quick and easy integration with most SCADA, MES and ERP systems available in the market today independent of platform, RDBMS and technology. TUP Mercerise: In Fall 2014 TUP Mercerise (a major Turkish dye house) & Systainable Solutions launched a project which led to TUP becoming an M+S approved Eco Dye house in Summer 2015. The project comprised implementation of Systain T-DH & Systain T-FM as well as a performance improving initiative & credible documentation thereof, which led to M+S awarding TUP the ECO Dyehouse status in Fall 2015.

MADE-BY collaborated with Systainable Solutions to support Prym Fashion Italia, a producer of fastenings and accessories on a project to validate the environmental reductions of Prym’s L.I.F.E.™ finishing method. Working together, we sought to assess and verify any savings.  The results of this project highlighted positive environmental savings when compared to Prym’s conventional finishing processes. Reductions include 16% less energy consumption, 65% lower water consumption, 65% less waste and 85% less hazardous waste.

In the Akbaslar processing factory in Bursa (Turkey) we implemented successfully, the latest, most advanced Systain T-DH version in spring 2016.

Early 2016, the Spanish blanket manufacturer Euro-Goodnight S.L. (one of Europe’s most traditional and dynamic blanket manufacturers and a main supplier of Europe’s air carriers as well as military institutions, hospitals etc) and Systainable Solutions launched a Project aiming at maximizing the sustainability, and eco-friendliness of Euro Goodnight’s production.  The project spans over the entire production chain starting from raw material (here targets include maximizing recycled material share in the synthetic products and full traceability in the natural fibres products) over to the weaving and processing stages (which are being optimized in terms of efficiency, resource input and environmental and societal impact) over to finishing/ packaging and distribution.

Following the successful dye house project, Yesim and Systainable Solutions shook hands to expand their efforts and increase automation and data integration across Yesim´s (strategic Nike supplier) complete factory. Project launch was in fall 2016.

Early 2017 Systainable Solutions implemented its latest, most advanced Systain T-DH version in fabric & yarn processing factories at Maral Overseas (Indore), Cotton  Blossom (Coimbatore) and Echotex (Dhaka)

April 2017: Implementation of the latest, most advanced Systain T-DH version in Pratibha Syntex’ processing factory (Indore) is complete. Pratibha expects to maximize ROI from the latest round of investment and substantially improve its overall operational efficiency through Systain T-DH.

Systain T-DH now runs at 4 of the largest Indian textile groups: Alok Industries, Arvind Mills, Maral Overseas and Pratibha Syntex.

Viostamp, Greece's largest textile printing and dyeing mill entrusted SYSTAINABLE to maximize its efficiency and environmental performance. The project -launched in 2016- comprised expert systems implementation, automation solutions and targeted consultancy. As a result the company's profits start to peak and its environmental footprint gradually surpasses the most ambitious industry benchmarks.

VieBon -Greece's largest digital printing mill and member of the Ruyi Shandong, China's largest textile group- has reached under the guidance of SYSTAINABLE world-class efficiency and environmental performance. The project -launched early 2016- comprised expert systems implementation, automation solutions and targeted consultancy. As a result, VieBon's profitability has peaked whereas its cost structure and environmental footprint exceed even the most ambitious industry benchmarks; results that benefit its shareholders, the community and the environment.

ykkIn Fall 2017, YKK -the world-leading buttons and zippers manufacturer- asked Systainable Solutions Ltd. and Made-By (www.made-by.org) to evaluate and certify a series of novel, eco-friendly, sustainable fastening product finishes, introduced by their plants in Shenzhen, China (www.ykksz.com) and Cerkezköy, Turkey (www.ykk.com.tr). Systainable Solutions' South Eastern Europe and China offices performed the evaluation, which was completed in December 2017. The findings confirm that the novel eco-friendly finishing methods lead to substantial reduction of toxic chemicals input and to significant lower energy and water usage. Also CO2 emissions vs. conventional methods are reduced. Overall, the joint project gave YKK the necessary 3rd party expert assurance that the move towards the eco-friendly processes is beneficial for the environment, the company and the society and thus further steps in that direction is the right future strategy.

April 2018: El Chourbaqui (Cairo, Egypt) will implement our complete Suite of our Textile Expert Systems in order to fully automate and gain total control over production in their Cairo factory. The Company, one of Egypt’s largest Textile Processors, expects to maximize ROI from its latest round of investment in new equipment and substantially improve its overall operational efficiency through our Systain Textile Expert Systems.

April 2018: After the successful implementation of our Dyeing Expert System Systain T-DH in 2017, Pisa Tekstil decided to implement the complete Suite of our Textile Expert Systems in their Istanbul factory in order to fully automate and gain total control over production. Pisa Tekstil expects to maximize ROI from the latest round of investment and substantially improve its overall operational efficiency through our Systain Textile Expert Systems.

May 2018: Dhaka-based Textile Manufacturer Bangladesh Dyeing will implement our latest, most advanced Dyeing Expert System Systain T-DH in their Dhaka dye house.

July 2018: A sophisticated Green House Gas Emissions Mapping Solution developed by Systainable Solutions has been implemented at Arvind Mills Knits Division, as part of Arvind's Major CSR Initiatives.

September 2018: Mumbai-based Textile Processor Technocraft and Systainable Solutions shook hands about implementing our latest, most advanced Dyeing Expert System Systain T-DH in the Company's Dye house. The challenging project will be addressed in a novel, sophisticated manner by Systainable Solutions.

October 2018: GOTS WE Monitor V2.0 is a unique sophisticated energy-efficiency assessment tool, developed by Systainable Solutions Ltd and made available by GOTS to GOTS licensees (can be downloaded from https://www.global-standard.org/the-standard/gots-monitor.html).

GOTS WE Monitor V2.0 is intended for Spinning, Knitting/ Weaving and Wet Processing Factories.

By utilizing Systainable’s proprietary benchmarking methodology and knowledge base the GOTS WE Monitor V2.0 enables textile manufacturers to analyze their water and energy efficiency and benchmark themselves vs global best performers.

The extremely-simple-to-use, intuitive tool visualizes the water and energy efficiency by means of easy-to-understand KPIs. It further provides estimates about the cost of inefficiency (gap compared to benchmark) and Green-House-Gas (GHG/ CO2) Emissions.

The tool can be complemented with targeted, more-in-depth consultancy services by Systainable’s world-known pool of textile experts.

Karachi-based Dye House Lucky Knits implemented our latest, most advanced Systain T-DH (Dyeing Expert System) version. The company expects to further increase operational control and efficiency as well as production sustainability and profitability substantially, with the help of Systainable Solutions.

On December 17th, 2018, Systainable Solutions held a Webinar on the new GOTS W/E Monitor V2.0.

Participants were GOTS certifying bodies and representatives (more than 100 people in the Europe, Asia session; American participants were handed out audiovisual recordings of the webinar); the overall objective was to best prepare them so the new Monitor can be smoothly and quickly introduced to all of GOTS licensees (more than 2,000 textiles manufacturing sites). By means of GOTS W/E Monitor textile producers can monitor the efficiency of energy and water usage and also draw a roadmap to improve their specific consumptions.

In February 2019, Systainable Solutions launched an extensive, comprehensive optimization and automation program at the Ipeker Dye House in Bursa, Turkey. The objective is for the Ipeker dye house to achieve operational and environmental benchmark efficiency.

The project comprises implementation of Systainable Solutions advanced dyeing expert software Systain T-DH and of floor automation and will be complemented by targeted processing know-how transfer.

Pakiza Knit Composite Ltd has selected the world's most advanced dye machines by Sclavos (www.sclavos.eu) for its Dhaka dye houses. To optimize the utilization of its machines and hence maximize the Return on its Customer's investment, Sclavos implemented the Sclavos-tailored version of Systainable's dyeing expert Systain T-DH (Sclavos Dye House Control) in Pakiza's dye houses. The 1st pilot implementation was completed in January 2019; a 2nd implementation in a further Pakiza dye house will follow as of April 2019.

In March 2019, Systainable Solutions launched an extensive project in the 1st of the Palmal Group Dye Houses in Dhaka. The objective is for the dye house to achieve operational and environmental benchmark efficiency.

The project comprises implementation of Systainable Solutions advanced dyeing expert software Systain T-DH and of floor automation. This 1st pilot implementation in one of the Group's dye houses will serve as the blueprint for optimizing the performance in further Group factories.

Systainable Solutions evaluated and certified the sustainability and improved environmental performance of novel finishing processes and products introduced by PRYM FASHION ITALIA -a major button manufacturer- in their Lecco production site.

Our experts -in close cooperation with the PRYM’s technical team- analyzed in-depth the novel methods and quantified the realized savings (up to 95%) in terms of water, energy, and dangerous chemicals consumption as well as in terms of generated waste.

Moreover, the 2 partners introduced a sophisticated Sustainability Indicator aimed at comprising in a single easy-to-comprehend figure the sustainability content of each product. By means of this unique Indicator the public will be able to immediately classify the sustainability properties of any PRYM FASHION ITALIA product.

As part of Systainable Solutions’ on-going efforts for further growth and increased customer basis, a strategic decision was made to expand our activities to other industries and develop novel sector-specific versions of our software expert systems.

The first of these diversified project is currently being implemented in a leading South-Eastern European Group of Industrial Chemicals Companies, Megara Resins (www.megararesins.com).

The project includes a chemical-sector-specific Version of Systain T-DH, as well as extensive floor automation.

Systainable Solutions Ltd attended the 2019 ITMA in Barcelona. During the Fair, very interesting Projects and Cooperation possibilities were discussed and extremely challenging trade agreements were signed; in the ITMA aftermath all generated options will be pursued; Systainable Solutions Ltd looks with great confidence into the future.
